About

“Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”

Corrie ten Boom

My own life’s journey is what led me to respond to a call to become a spiritual director.

I lost my sight in my mid-twenties from childhood diabetic retinopathy and later kidney failure, dialysis and the eventual beautiful restoration of my health from kidney and pancreas transplants.

The lessons learned through these challenges have given me an ability to accompany you on whatever spiritual path you may be on with compassionate and deep listening, and understanding.

I would find it a privilege to make sacred space and offer a safe place for you to explore the path you are on and to discern what you are being led toward.
I am a wife, mother of a grown married son, and the proud grandmother of our two beautiful grandchildren.

I received my spiritual direction certificate at Sacred Ground Center For Spirituality in St. Paul, MN. My husband and I have been involved in Twin Cities National Marriage Encounter since 1999 as a team couple giving retreats and are on the board. I have also worked with elementary faith formation at St. John Neumann Parish in Eagan MN.

My passions are cooking and baking, sharing that love with others; finding spiritual connections in nature; and whenever given the chance to travel, exploring other places and cultures.

I previously wrote a weekly column called Guided Sight on Patheos.com.
